No algorithm decides what people see. Sovereign from day one.
The MVP—Community in a Box—includes secure steward communication, protocols and tools for secure messaging, Discourse for structured discussion, virtual-private interconnection across servers, a local resident mobile app, Proof of Life—Human Cohort Verified identity, hardened secure self-hosting, collaboration video conferencing, and co-creation tools.
This is not a prototype waiting for the real thing. This is the real thing, shipped now, even if broken and partial, with the understanding that whatever comes into being won’t be for the reasons we imagined. There will be frothy chaos at the edges that changes everything. That’s the point. The broken lab is the strategy. Epistemological humility—the acknowledgment that real learning happens in the doing—is more credible than confident blueprints to the builders, funders, and community leaders we need to reach.
Target communities for the triage phase include mutual aid networks, civic engagement organizations, emergency response coordinators, regenerative agriculture collaboratives, faith communities, educational collectives, and healthcare peer support groups. In every case, the underlying need is the same: people who must coordinate, create, and care for one another need tools that support the relational foundation this work requires.
